Rieger Bassoon Elliptical Forming Mandrel

The Rieger forming mandrel has an elliptical flattened tip to aid in forming the tube. The special shape opens the throat differently than other brands when used to form the tube. All of the Rieger mandrels and reamers are machined to exact specifications ensuring that each will contribute to a precise fit on the bocal and and open throat.
