Never used a burnishing rod before. It is great! The edge of my knife has NEVER been as sharp.

Great item from a wonderful company.

  2. Sharpening Steels are Fantastic! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Jan 2016

I have used sharpening steels for several years. They put a "scary sharp" edge on my knives. I often will only use a sharpening stone once every 3-4 weeks and only use the sharpening steel for all other sharpening as it simply "aligns" the edge of your knife. These are fantastic! Every oboist and bassoonist should own one!
